It depends on the build.Īlso, it's rather easy to make rings of Speed (recipe should be on wiki) as I recall.with crafting points from gear if you don't have enough. It may be worth dipping into scoundrel for (for Fast Track) than waiting for a higher level one or take up a valuable slot under another ability. I'm assuming you're taking advantage of the various hasting skills too.and if you don't have enough, it's certainly worth looking into. A low AP fighter can be kind of annoying in certain situations but it's workable with mages, rogues and rangers. As you've probably figured out by now controlling the battlefield is half the battle.

In my opinion pure fighters don't need as much AP (it's helpful for Divinie Light etc), if you have to choose, and priority should (in my opinion) be given to those with high iniitiative who can also CC/buff/debuff. I like to have 10 starting on AP on 1-2 characters - and some builds do OK with 8AP per turn even if I prefer 9. It's one thing to want more AP and another to sacrifice something else for it, like inititative or resistes as doing so may hurt you more in the long run, especially if you have "enough."ĩ AP per turn is nice if you can take advantage of a 6+3 AP abilities. What's your LV and AP now, if you feel like sharing?
